Discription :
Before becoming an orthodontist, Dr. Katie's dreams changed often. Depending on the day, she wanted to be a veterinarian, an astronaut, a paleontologist, a concert violinist, and even a Broadway star. As proof of her diverse talents and interests, Dr. Katie double-majored in the violin and philosophy during her undergraduate education. Dr. Katie made her final career choice and earned her DDS degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry. She earned the Alpha Omega award for the highest graduating GPA. She was a member of Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the dental honors society. She then completed her orthodontic residency at the University of Texas, Houston, and earned her orthodontic certificate and a Master of Science in Dentistry.
